JC Henderson is both a visual artist and a poet, with published works in both genres. She trained at art schools and through independent study with individual artists. Her work has appeared in literary art magazines across the US and England, including as cover art. She has sold numerous paintings; her work draws on themes of nature and the human condition. She believes art is the richest universal language available to us. From her own experience, she also knows that art can heal. She currently lives in Austin, Texas, with George, Katherine, and their five pets.
