
Willy Conley of Hanover, Maryland, is a writer-photographer whose nine books include Space is Deaf Like Me (The Main Street Rag, 2024), Photographic Memories (Gallaudet University Press, 2023), Plays of Our Own (Routledge: Taylor & Francis, 2023), and The World of White Water (Kelsay Books, 2021). With a BS in biomedical photography from R.I.T., he once worked as a medical photographer at leading hospitals in the US. Later, he received an MA in playwriting from Boston University and an MFA in theatre from Towson University. He is a professor emeritus of theatre at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C.
