Departure
By Wendy Brown

Wendy Brown lives on an untidy farm tending two old thoroughbreds. Retired after 38 years working on the backside of thoroughbred racetracks, she acts in local community theaters, models, plays guitar, swims, practices yoga, and weather permitting, still rides. She loves walking the farm and taking photos of wildlife. She had a personal essay published in the winter issue of Months to Years. She has been working on a memoir, Letters to Michael, a Widow’s Wont. She also likes to write poems.
